hi, I currently use a corsair void pro. I play guitar through discord, to bounce ideas off my friend for my band. But the mic has a built in noise gate, where it cuts the sound off it get too loud. Which makes the guitar constantly get chopped off. What would be a good headset that doesn't have a built in noise gate.

Hi! Does the mic have a noise gate or the headset? Usually rather the headset (noise cancelation), but you wrote that the mic has it build in (what I doubt).

Noise gates cut the noise below a defined threshold. Often you can switch them simply off (should check it in the manual).

Otherwise buy a reasonable pair of headphones, like Akg K702 which cost a bit over 100 euros  and they re really quite ok (a bit too prominent on high freq content, but not dramatic)
